W. Pilling 7m galvanizing kettle, PYGLARA plant, Barquisimeto

Your steel lasts 50 years. Or it rusts.

We galvanize your steel at 450 °C so it lasts decades, not years.

65cm centrifuge active · 7m kettle Q2 2026 · 9m kettle 2027

Unprotected steel doesn't forgive.

Corrosion doesn't announce itself. It starts at the edges, moves through welds, and by the time it's visible it has already compromised the structure. Replacing corroded steel costs 3 to 10 times more than galvanizing it from the start.

Zinc doesn't coat steel. It becomes part of it.

Hot-dip galvanizing is not a paint or surface coating. At 450 °C, zinc bonds metallurgically to the steel, layer by layer, forming a barrier that doesn't peel, doesn't flake, and doesn't fail in field conditions.

Why the process matters

Five steps, no shortcuts. Each one exists to ensure the zinc bonds correctly and lasts for decades.

  1. 1.

    Degreasing

Removal of oils and surface contaminants with alkaline solution.

  2. 2.

    Acid Pickling

Removal of mill scale and rust with hydrochloric acid (HCl) to activate the steel surface.

  3. 3.

    Fluxing

Immersion in ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) solution to promote zinc adhesion.

  4. 4.

    Hot-Dip Galvanizing

Immersion in molten zinc at 450 °C. Zinc SHG 99.99% purity.

  5. 5.

    Cooling & Inspection

Controlled cooling, visual and thickness inspection. Certificate issued per lot.
